What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a different or altered state of consciousness which our body can enter naturally.  Hypnosis is typically a heightened state where you have increased focus and concentration and have an enhanced capacity to respond to suggestion.

What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a listening and talking therapy that combines positive suggestions tailored to the client’s personality and needs, and repetition to achieve a desired outcome.  Hypnotherapy is completely safe and natural.  Hypnotherapy can achieve rapid results.

Clinical hypnotherapy is an established complementary modality with an excellent track record, and is used to assist in a wide variety of areas, whether it is improving performance or eliminating unwanted behaviours.

Why Hypnotherapy?

Because hypnosis is a naturally occurring state of consciousness, it is an effective tool for making contact with our inner self, also known as our subconscious mind. That is, the part of our mind which acts as both a reservoir of unrecognised potential and knowledge, as well as sometimes being the unexpected cause of many of our problems.

In hypnotherapy, hypnosis is used for therapeutic purposes, to communicate directly with the subconscious mind, where positive and beneficial suggestions are used to help improve the health and wellbeing of our clients.

A hypnotherapist supports a client to activate their inner resources, in order to achieve realistic goals. Under hypnosis, your subconscious mind can be empowered, guided and shaped to enable you to achieve the outcome you want.
